Q: 2nd
Didn't practice this week due to uni exams so was a little off the pace.

R: 5th
Took the lead up Kemmel straight, attempted to hold mebbe and Forza off. Forza shot across the bus stop at one point but readdressed. Mebbe was too fast on the straight for me and Forza battled me soon after. Eventually he spun me out again, which ultimately cost me at least a podium. It sucks that most of my point loss has come with collisions with him, lag or not. The difference between us being that I can accept it was lag, while he loses his head over the chat without seeing my POV first. Oh well, I guess not everyone can have pace and brains.

Unfortunately had my Soft lap ruined by an outlap car in the racing lane, and then had the wrong fuel consumption going for my Super lap, so qualifying was a complete throw away.

R: 15th
Turn 1 shenanigans by others resulted in a yellow wing for me. Giving someone the bottom lane and having them just come up across my nose  half a lap later turned it orange, so it was a pretty crappy Lap 1 I'd say. Still found myself in a points position after the VSCs, until I lost my 2nd wing in a difference of breaking points. At that point, just called it a night.

Got a decent lap time, and was happy with it as i knew i had a good race setup and was never gonna be able to get pole here with my low wing setup.
r:2nd 3rd???
Had an ok start but it was all kicking off in front of me so i decided to hang back untill someone came out and then charge to the front if i could. as they were battling 3 wide and it was meebe who came out of the pack worse off, i managed to capitalize through turn 10 on the inside then hung it around turn 11 to get past meebe, i was then approaching alonso and jacko fast as they were having their own battle, unfortunately going into stavelot alonso braked really hard, assuming he was reacting to jacko and i hit the rear of him having an orange front left, was undriveable through that middle sector, so when the VC came out on lap 3 i pitted as i was losing so much time so i lost time with wing change and having to 2 stop, honestly thought i could of won if i didnt break my wing AGAIN , seems to becoming a theme that keeps ruining my race recently. Anyway managed to stretch them to lap 17 where i was infront of mebbe for a few laps doing defensive lines and thanks to my low wings helped me stay infront at the straights. Put on ss to do fastest lap but still needed to clear a few cars. Still was able to get fastest lap even though i was overtaking cars at the best part of the ss tyre.

Hopefully next week we can race side by side and behind each other cleanly for its a competitive battle and not ruined by wing damage lol

Sorry for the delay in uploading this video. Was a mix of business with my house move coming up and waiting to see if there was a stewards inquiry (which I haven't been notified of, so I assume there is none against me).

Okay, this isn't an official report.  We had one protest for this race, and it was submitted after the deadline.  However, I want to make a few points, so I'm adding them here rather than in the Stewards Reports:

[ul]
[li]If there had been anything malicious in any video footage, it would have been handled as an official investigation, regardless of when it was submitted.[/li]
[li]After reviewing footage from Mystic and comparing to video from Jacko, there's no definitive evidence of any brake checking.  I did look closely at Jacko's throttle and brake inputs at corners, and one might argue he's lifting more than the norm, but he's definitely not brake checking.  If it's lag, well, I'll leave organizers to make decisions based on that if needed.[/li]
[li]While past guilt does not indicate current or future guilt, I want to highlight that Jacko has been investigated for brake checking twice (in our current Stewards Log), while being found guilty once, and having a penalty removed following an appeal in the second instance.  Therefore, future investigations of this nature involving Jacko would be scrutinized and not taken lightly.[/li]
[li]With the exception of blocking time penalties for manual formation laps (don't know if you guys still do those), time penalties cannot be removed.  Other drivers are informed via their race engineer that someone has a time penalty, and they may drive accordingly for the entire race.  For instance, a driver in second may aim to only be within 10 seconds of the driver in front if they know they have a 10 second penalty.  It's not fair for a driver to expect or not expect it to be removed by the Stewards.  All drivers should assume it won't be changed so they can race accordingly.  Is this game always fair?  No, but Stewards changes to in-game penalties doesn't make it more fair to all drivers.[/li]
[li]I don't know where Jacko got Mystic's "team radio" in his video, but that language is totally unacceptable for PRL, and is something that could be easily protested and punishable.  If it's just limited to Mystic and his teammate, and if his teammate is okay with it, that's ok, but it doesn't need to be published in a video that is posted to PRL, nor does it need to be copied to another video, Jacko.  Remember, it's just a game :)[/li]
[li]Finally, I don't understand this tire bug, but crashing out in 3 different qualifying sessions, which allows you to start on a different compound than what you qualified on needs to stop or penalties will be awarded.  Video of qualifying and said crash is mandatory if you want to stand a chance of being deemed innocent from this point forth.[/li]
[li]Happy to answer any questions or comment on specific timestamps in videos (so long as it remains civil in this thread).[/li]
[li].... and do my eyes and ears deceive me, or are arch-rivals dubzzy and Jacko teammates this season?  How is that even possible?! Are you guys besties now? :)[/li]

[li]Fair enough.[/li]
[li]Thank you for verifying I didn't brake check. With regard to the lag, I am moving between Spa and Monza so I'll have a new connection that is estimated to be 2.5 times faster. Hopefully that improves that situation.[/li]
[li]You forget to mention that the instance the stewards found me guilty of brake checking they disqualified three drivers from that race (none of whom deserved it). More than half the grid disagreed with the stewards that day and even the person who I allegedly brake-tested would agree that it was ridiculous. [/li]
[li]With regard to Forza's in game penalties, sure I agree with your point about drivers being told over the radio that he had penalties, but if the penalty is unjust it should be removed in my opinion. I think it's reasonable to say I shouldn't have any reason to want Forza to win given how he acted towards me, but I think based on the fact he didn't deserve the penalty, it should be removed, and he should gain back the position/s.[/li]
[li] The "team radio" was downloaded from Aaron's YouTube footage and was public live as he streamed on Twitch. [/li]
[li]I'm glad the tyre glitch has been made penalty worthy as others have encountered/exploited it in the past (e.g. Mystic in Bahrain Season 7). There was plenty of time left in qualifying at Spa when I crashed and I had another set of tyres, so I actually lost out there, rather than exploiting the glitch. I had a massive crash at Eau Rouge, so I hope nobody seriously believes I did it on purpose.[/li]
[li] Yes, arch-rivals dubzzy and Jacko are teammates this season.  We have found working together much more beneficial than racing each other. We've let each other pass this season, shared strategies, and are aiming to finish 1-2 in the championship regardless of order. It is difficult to believe given the rivalry two years ago though I agree.[/li]
