Thanks Austin, it was my best effort so far at PRL. Yet it was not a top ten finish. I continue to learn my lessons the hard way. This week there was some fun in the learning. Even got to run side by side with you, Charlie, Ryan and others for chunks of the race. I felt like you were in the running for a top five in this one. Man you were fast last night. Sorry you got caught up in unfortunate luck. In practice I got to run quite a few laps with some of the top dogs. Bradley, Jeff, Thomas and you all seemed really strong to me going into the race. I had Thomas marked down as the truck to beat last night. He was so fast and stayed fast so deep into runs. In the end I ran 15th had a black flag that sent me to end of the longest line with 14 laps remaining. And still it was the first time sense joining the PRL I was proud of my effort at the end of the race. Thanks for noticing Austin.
You've definitely been improving week after week. Every time I logged in this week to practice for this race or my endurance race this upcoming weekend I saw you on, and that time spent definitely showed up last night.
This league is so damn competitive.... shit we've had six different winners this season, including three first time winners in the past three races!
When I first got started two years ago, those small improvements that might seem go more unnoticed on a broadcast or something, like going for consistently running around P20 to consistently running around P15, I had to recognize those small personal victories and continue to keep building off of them. So keep it up! All of that track time will continue to show in your results. I can't speak for everyone obviously, but I've definitely taken notice of your name moving up the standings. It's awesome to see people continuing to improve season after season like that.
It's a long grind..... atleast in my case it was, taking two years to get my first league win haha!
