For those new to the league, this is a great opportunity to test out strategies (especially with the new tire and areo model) and further engage with the community.

Driver’s Briefing

Greetings Gentle People and welcome to round 1 of PRL 2022 Season 2 at Silverstone

Track Features:
Please be mindful of the pit entry & exit.
Pit Entry is fast and drivers are likely to be cutting hard right across the track. Consider announcing your intention to pit in if other drivers are close to you on track.

Stay to the right on Pit Exit and be aware of other cars that maybe coming at you from the left and from behind.

Lap 1 / First few turns:
Cold Tires; brake a little earlier, especially into turns 3 & 4 and 6 & 7.

There are harsher penalties for causing a collision on lap 1

Be patient; Hold your line; be predictable
Let your car come up to temperature

Spins & Collisions:

Hold your brakes and give drivers around you a chance to avoid a collision.

Rejoin safely (use your relative window)

Radio:

Reserve radio transmissions for announcing your intentions to other drivers, such as pitting in, pitting out and maybe an apology.

Keep language clean and save protests for after the race with the stewards.
