Last Second Pre-Race Interview!!!!!!

1. We all know how difficult Darlington will be tonight. What are you expectations for yourself tonight?

2. Ford has dominated the first 3 Cup races so far this season. How surprised are you by that?

Like every week, I go in with my eyes on a Top 5. The car is good and I have some redemption I need after my spring in my accelerator broke last time we were here. I want to keep her clean the whole race and see if I can put myself into a winning position.

I figured the Chevys would need a few races to get the Camaro under them, but shocked that Toyota hasn't came out gun slinging. Happy for the Fords, but I'd be happier if Kurt would just finish races!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dropped some speed for handling. I'm hoping that will help me tonight but I really need a %50 rave to get into rhythm.

Not surprised at least by Harvick he always gets a jump. Toyota's are there it's just been bad timing. I can see them getting 3 out of the next 5 Races

1. If I stay off the wall I will be happy. I've sacrificed speed for better corner entry to help me with this like X a longer race would better suit me for this track, but I'll make something off it. Hopefully I can finish my string of top 10s and maybe sneak a top 5.

2. I don't believe it is Ford, but SHR. They have been on fire they just happen to be doing it in the oldest car on the track. If Austin didn't pull an Earnhardt move and wreck Almirola at Daytona SHR would be 3 for 3. I say SHR because none of the other Fords are really out performing the new Cameros or Camerys. I, however it will be like last season Ford's really hot in the beginning then fall off. I think when the Cameros start to come to life Chevy will be a force to be reckoned with.

I have a bad feeling this race will be a shit show. And I hope I'm not the cause of it. Shooting for a top 10.

Not surprised at all and I think it will continue. Hoping Blaney gets another win this year.

Q:10th
I was happy with tenth had a lot of quick guys and I knew I wasn't going to have a faster car as I took stability/speed. It didn't matter car was still ill handling after about 7 laps.

R:5th
Not for sure how this finish happened but I'll take it. I should've placed 10th or worse but due to some luck I got 5th, my first top 5 of the season. I am going to say I am highly aggravated and personally think Darlington is the worst track in the game and hope we never go back till they fix it. Phantom walls everywhere got me on multiple occasions and I think they sparked more than a few of our accidents. I know I got mad at a couple of drivers and I will use to apologize to them as I was/am frustrated in how I was performing and some caught that lash when I should've keep a level head. Frustration with this race and life came to a boil. Anyways let's get on to Pocono and have hopefully a better race both myself and the league as a whole.

Q:3rd

Got in a solid lap after pitting a 2nd time for a small adjustment. Had a shot at the pole, Hootius(P2) and Jake(P1) just edged me out.

R:3rd

All in all a good run. At times I felt the fastest on the track(Setting the track record at 29.111), at other times I couldn’t stay consistent. Had I stayed focused in those last 10 laps and kept off the turn 3/4 wall, I think I’m fighting for the win. I’m happy to take over the points lead for the first time in a long time, but this season is far, very far from being over.

Q: 2nd

R: 13th

Went from battling for the lead late, to 6 different drivers hitting the wall and I paid the price each time. Enough said.

Didn't seem to matter how much practice I put in I could never be consistent enough. Qualifying went the same.

Hey now! Sun shines on a dogs ass every now and again. Just kidding. I called it before the race started that this would be a disaster. And it was. We had to alter the restarts mid race because it is impossible to send 15 car 2 wide into T1. Good decision by Hoot which made this race move forward. I ran the entire race in 14th place and ended up 2 laps down. Somehow after multiple cautions I was on the lead lap with 20 to go. I knew if I could keep it together for like 5 minutes I'd have a chance at a top 10. Two more cautions later and now I'm in 11th with 3 laps to go. Huge wreck in front of me on the last lap going into turn 3. I somehow miss almost all of it and race Brian to the line and beat him for 7th by about a 0.010. I'm happy with the result but I didn't deserve it at all. My car control was terrible and that track is just impossible. Wall, death. Apron, death. Exit of 2, death. 2 wide the middle of the corner, almost certain death. Trying to get a hotdog mid race, death. In real life it's my favorite race of the season but I hope we never go back in the game until its fixed. Apologies to anyone I held up and Congrats to my teammate on the win.
