Pre-Race Interview

1. After a shortie and a semi-shortie, now it is time for speed. How much are you looking forward to racing at Texas?

2. We have had 9 drivers score a Top 5 in the first 2 races (Dominic is the only driver with 2). Pick 1 driver that you think will score their first Top 5 of the season on Wednesday.

**Also, if you did not read my post in the Rockingham thread, I urge you to please go read it and take it to heart. It is not a threat against being human, mistakes will happen. But with my role as the Head Steward, I will jump in if needed to clean up some of the more undesirable moves that we have seen through 2 races if I see trends continue. I hope that everyone takes this opportunity at Texas to have some fun, and put on a proper show for the viewers and lets limit cautions and hit the lap limit for the first time this Season. With Bristol right around the corner next week, this is the race to help ease my mind. Thank you.**

1. I'm hoping it's a little cleaner than it has been the first two races and slick to make the trucks more fun to drive.

2. Thomas will get one this week barring him getting wrecked

1. I'm a fan of the quads, so looking forward to this one. Hoping I can flirt with a Top 5 in this one.

2. Sink is due.

1. Pretty pumped out for this one. I'll try to get some practice before the race to help me speed up a little.

2. As stated above, Sink will probably get a good run again, I've seen him up front quite often but he got unlucky a few times. I feel this will be a good one for him

1. Not a huge Texas track fan, but will be nice to see some clean racing, likely with the bigger track.

2. Dang boys thanks for the kind words! I'd say Brenden or Austin. Brenden has been strong every week and should have won Martinsville. Then Austin's been right there on speed and following through with some good racing.

1. I'm looking forward to it. I haven't faired well in the trucks the last time I ran them, but two races in being Top 5 and Top3 near the end makes me feel better, things didnt play out well in those races but I'm hoping to break through.

2. I think Chatley will be in for a Top 5 this week.

Hoot warned me about how many shorties there will be in this season so I will treasure this one :D

I think I will go for Austin in Tehaas.

1. I struggle at short tracks, so I'm definately looking forward to Texas, I'll be racing the roval there in August in the real car.
It's something like a home track, in this series anyway.

2. I'm really hoping for one myself, had a few last season.
But Sink and Hunter are Due as well!
I pick Me though and I guess they can fill the top 5 with Me!

Just want to apologizes for the 1st wreck at lap 11. It was all on me, I carried a bit to much speed on the inside of the 66 (Dominique) and was not able to hold it down.

I am sorry to have caused a problem for JR and any one else on that last lap. I was not trying to get into the pits I was trying to get as low as I could because I was going to run out of fuel on the strait. I caught the grass and it came up. Was not trying to wreck any ones race.

When Danny hit the wall I did not have enough track to not hit them and ended up with damage that just would not repair. I did my best to stay in the race and let everyone by. But I am sure if I ranted at Danny for causing me damage I would of be put in my place, I understand JR was disappointed but it was not necessary to rant on line in that way. Again I just tried to move out of the too much and lost it.

and I just want to apologize for getting out of line. My race had gone completely downhill and the incident when we made contact was just the volcano finally erupting. I should not have said anything that I did, because we are all here for fun and I know that everyone who is here would not do things like that on purpose. We can both learn from yesterday and move forward.
