Don't know if we are still doing post-race forum updates but I'm doing one.
Q:10th
Same as always qualifying is not my strong suite, but I am getting better. However, so is everyone else.
R: 6th
2nd week in a row I placed 6th. However, unlike last week I knew I didn't feel that I had a car to beat. I didn't put in much practice, but I do like Dover. Car had some corner wiggles and I tried minimizing this by being cautious through the turns, but it hurt lap times. I was running around 5th all race, but due to a string of cautions and being on pit road when the caution came out I was outside the top 10 before a shirt green flag then another string of cautions pushed me back up to 8th. Car was built for long runs not these short choppy runs we were having. On the last restart I lined up I believe 11 but due to a last lap crash right at the finish I managed to get through it almost untouched as I was clipped by a spinning car as I crossed the line in 6th. The caution system I must say worked excellent tonight, too bad we had to put it to use that much. So far this season the points standings have been interesting as there are guys after two races within the top 5 that are treading new ground as guys who have had the top 5 in points under lockdown since this league was created in a points hole. It will be interesting to see how that plays out. Anyways onward to 'Dega and hopefully I can use my love of restrictor plate and skills to push out a top 5 or even a win.
