***Pre-Race Interview***
1. We are at a flat out, draft heavy track at Michigan this week. How do you enjoy this style of racing and this track?

2. Ever since he announced his retirement, Jr. has made a string of errors that's led to some rough finishes. Do you think he is putting too much pressure on himself to win before the end of this year?

3. We finally got some information about NHE2. From the little bit that we have, what has grabbed your interest so far?

1. We are at a flat out, draft heavy track at Michigan this week. How do you enjoy this style of racing and this track?

I absolutly love these types of tracks, it's similiar to Auto Club which I feel was my overall best performance other than 'Dega before I DCed. I wish I was able to make the race this week because I felt I could compete for a win or atleast a decent finish, but this is the first of my scheduled 3 to 4 missed races.

2. Ever since he announced his retirement, Jr. has made a string of errors that's led to some rough finishes. Do you think he is putting too much pressure on himself to win before the end of this year?

Yes, he is definently trying way to hard to win. What he needs to do is just focus on racing and the better results will start to show.

3. We finally got some information about NHE2. From the little bit that we have, what has grabbed your interest so far?

I like the fact that the other two series are featured in the game, I just hope they have enough drivers in the game were they don't have to create what if cars or trucks with drivers, example Tyler Riddick, which has been an issue of my since Nascar the Game. All I want is a decent functioning game and I hope they delivery with one. I mainly look at the little things, such as fine details and what not in games.

1. We are at a flat out, draft heavy track at Michigan this week. How do you enjoy this style of racing and this track?
If this game had real physics, I would like it. But since there is no 2nd grove and the only skill involves just driving in a draft, it is not a track or style I find fun. I've had a lot of success in 1.5 and 2 mile tracks, so hoping to try to avoid the cluster and bring home a Top 5 afters last week's crap.

2. Ever since he announced his retirement, Jr. has made a string of errors that's led to some rough finishes. Do you think he is putting too much pressure on himself to win before the end of this year?
Listening to his radio, he has definitely been more hostile and vocal than ever before. You can tell it is getting to him big time.

3. We finally got some information about NHE2. From the little bit that we have, what has grabbed your interest so far?
Eldora has my interest, but I am saving my excitement for when we get some online information and some videos since screenshots can be very deceiving.

1. We are at a flat out, draft heavy track at Michigan this week. How do you enjoy this style of racing and this track?
It seems this type of track may be the worst with the connection issues I've been having. In terms of enjoyment I find this track a little mind-numbing, I prefer the ones where I can use the brakes heavily.
2. Ever since he announced his retirement, Jr. has made a string of errors that's led to some rough finishes. Do you think he is putting too much pressure on himself to win before the end of this year?
I haven't watched any NASCAR races since he announced his retirement, but by the sounds of it, yes.
3. We finally got some information about NHE2. From the little bit that we have, what has grabbed your interest so far?
I haven't seen this information, but I hope it points to improved connection.

Not sure why he is making the mistakes,  I would think he has always had the stress from expectations that come with the name.

All this mention of split screen and the other series being added, I was hoping for more online updates,  I like that they said cautions will be in but that could be a mess.  I hope they make pit adjustments a little easier as well.

1. This track is ok. Its not my favorite to run, but it's a good track for me. I'm hoping to get back in this win column this week but I'll be looking to secure a top 3 position.

2. He's not relaxed at all. He seemed to have been on cruise control the first couple weeks, I was sure that he was ok with just taking a retirement tour but now he just looks completely out of it. It tells me that he wants to fight to make a run at a championship but he's putting way to much stress on himself to do so.

3. I liked the details they came out, it shows they are making an effort to improve the game. It gives me hope that the online league experience will benefit and improve next season but I won't make any assumptions until more, bigger details emerge.

Just to remind everyone, this week is the start of the limited 16-car lobby again and a good portion of the field will have to race thier way in on Friday night. Per the new rule, the current Top 10 in points will have a guaranteed spot:
1- Wardude
2- Hootius
3- CJHerring
4- AaronWebb
5- Zeke
6- Klye
7- KDawg
8- Xsyse
9- BeeJ
10- Meatty

Unfortunately, Meatty will not be able to race this week, so that means there will be 7 spots up for grabs in Qualifying. Those who attempt to qualify but do not make the race will still recieve points towards the championship. The driver with the fastest speed to not qualify will be given 17th place and the appropriate amount of points, 2nd fastest will be given 18th place, ect. ect.

Q: 3rd

R: 8th

Had a pretty great race car. Drafted great, solo speed wasn't too bad. Just caught a tough break. Off to Sonoma.

Q:2nd

I got a solid lap in after our 3 car tandem of hoot Aaron and myself broke up leaving just hoot and myself.

R: 2nd

The race overall was pretty solid. This was the best race we have had in recent weeks, the cautions stayed at a minimum. I ran up front most of the race and lead a good chunk of it, I made a slight mistake exiting pits on that last green flag stop where I let my car slip up a bit early exiting 2 so I dropped it back down and got a bit loose letting Kyle take a second and a half lead on me. I caught it it back up to him and we had a two car race for the lead for a good 2-3 laps where I was planning on my pass for the lead and the caution came out. I had a chance on the green white checkered starting on the outside row I felt I could have taken the lead coming out of 2 but it seemed Kyle got a slightly late restart and I had to back it down. I'm not looking forward to Sonoma but I'll be ready to compete for another top 5.
