1. Richmond will be our 3rd short track in the past 4 races. How do you feel about your performances on the short tracks and what are you expecting out of Richmond?

2. News dropped early on Tuesday that Dale Jr. is hanging it up at the end of this year. How would you describe his career as it stands now?

3. If you were Hendrick, who would you push hard for in the #88 next year?

Havent ran the best at short tracks.  Not expecting much at Richmond but it will be easier to pass than Bristol.

Jr's popularity did a lot for the sport and he had some success, but I didn't ever expect a ton from him, I cheered for him after watching Sr. throughout the 90's...it was good to have him there.

1. Not a fan. It seems this game has missed short tracks completely. Other NASCAR games short tracks are where I excel, this one not so much. Get me back to a larger track were I can run constantly. Although I was looking at a top 10 last week till I unexpectedly got dced, so hopefully I can carry that into this week without the DC of course.

2. JR. is this era's Mark Martin in my book. Has done it all but win a Cup series championship.

3. Alex Bowman, no doubt

Bristol was my first race in the series and my performance wasn't great, but I'm looking forward to Richmond because I've got a decent car with help from some other drivers in the league.
Truthfully the news of his retirement did not come as a shock. I would have like to have seen a championship from him but he has other plans.
As much practicing and other opportunities Bowman has had with Hendricks Motorsport I feel he would really make a good fit.

I felt like I had a Top 5 car at Bristol, so pretty happy I could get out of there with a 2nd place. Martinsville would have been a Top 10 if not for the "server maintenance". I have won Richmond in another league and have always enjoyed that track. I will attack it how I attack every race, and will try to get out of there with another Top 5.

2. News dropped early on Tuesday that Dale Jr. is hanging it up at the end of this year. How would you describe his career as it stands now?
It was a solid career. Won a decent amount of races, and got a couple 500's. Unfortunately, the bar was always set insanely high due to his last name, so I try not to hold that against him. Kudos for him for being able to make a call like this and not hanging around for too long or being forced out in another way.

3. If you were Hendrick, who would you push hard for in the #88 next year?
To me, Bowman earned the shot.

I think I am generally pretty strong on short tracks. Had some misfortune at the end of the Bristol race which cost me a top 5 finish. Richmond is my worst short track, so not expecting much. I will hope to run in the top 10 and if breaks go my way snag a top 5.

2. News dropped early on Tuesday that Dale Jr. is hanging it up at the end of this year. How would you describe his career as it stands now?
He has definitely been helped by his name, I think he is a good driver but certainly was never one of the sports top at any time he was racing. I look back at his career as a positive one for him and the sport. His popularity helped keep Nascar relevant even among non auto racing fans. He has always had a likable personality and stayed out of trouble. Overall he should be proud of his career.

3. If you were Hendrick, who would you push hard for in the #88 next year?
Bobby Labonte obviously.

Q: 4

R: 10 Great Race, the field was very close so Im sure everyone felt they could have had a top 5 and they are right, just came down to traffic, consistancy and a good car for that long end run.

Q15:
After practicing all week for a day race my setup was all, but useless for a night race. One reason being that I accidently threw away my notes for the track. Therefore, I didn't have that great of a setup heading into Qualifying. One thing I need to work on for sure the remainder of the season is qualifying I have struggled all season with it.

R:12
To come home 12th I am not disappointed, what I am disappointed is that I spun out of 4 and cost Kyle the race because my car hadn't ghosted like it should have with me sitting up at the wall. Before all that, my race had ups and downs. At one point I was a lap down early on, got it back at the end of the first stage and proceeded to run in the top 5 for the next 50 or so laps before dropping back to 7th. However, as the run went on my car feel off badly, it was like skating on ice. My car was a good meduim run car as my car came alive about 15-20 laps into a run. I felt that if we had just one more caution towards the end I would have benefitted from it, but oh well. It was hell of a race and I can't wait till 'Dega.

Hit an ok qualifying lap. Lost probably .3-.4 in Turns 3/4, but happy overall with the starting spot since I was expecting at least 3 guys in the 20.5s.

As for the race, it had it's ups and downs. Caught the apron twice; got caught up in a few of the caution that put me in the back if the field around mid-race. Wardude and I had a nice drive up from 13/14 to 5/6 on a green flag run that helped set us up for the final stint. Unfortunately I hit an apron once, and had the wheel wrap my head phone cord around enough to down shift me on corner exit (and of coarse it had to be right in front of Aaron too lol). Those 2 errors bounced me back into 7th, and had to rally back to get the Top 5... though 1 more lap and Pats would have had me since my tires were straight garbage at the checkered flag.
