Alrighty boys, the countdown on the new season has started. We all know that setups have very little to do here and it is all about driver performance. Let's get some good practice in this week with holding lines (and patience!!!!). Aaron will pretend to love us and put up a pre-race interview at some point this week (that was quick lol), so let's all interact, have some fun and start Season 2 off with a great showing.

1)What is your online racing history? Have you raced in other racing leagues and/or games?
I've played racing games/sims pretty much my whole life. This past 5 months is really just the first time I have raced in a league (only previous online experience was just pug lobbies). While in S1 of PRL, I also raced a 50% set up league (where I won 3 races, and had 12 runner ups). Moving forward with Nascar (or any league for that matter),  I will only be racing with PRL. I am currently running the PRL PS4 F1 2016 league, and will look to join in the Project Cars league in the future.

2)Tell us a bit about yourself. Occupation/Year in School? Married? Kids? Hobbbies? Passions?
One of the old guys in the league (33). 3 beautiful kids, Courtney (13yo), Amber (6yo), and Sully (2mo, who sounds like a cat being stepped on apparently over the mic) and a wonderful wife (Val) who has put up with my shenanigans for more time than a proper lady would like to admit. For work, I do data analytics and loss prevention for Tropicana (if you buy Minute Maid, you just hate life). My hobby and my passion is bowling. I have bowled since I was 4 years old and never stopped (220 Ave, 34 all but 1 strike games without a 300 yet). You will see me whine about it in PSN chat on Monday nights lol. As for following sports, Gators, Lightning, Buccaneers and Blue Jays are my teams... and Go Kurt!!!

3) What are your expectations of this season? What goals do you have for Daytona and beyond?
I know several bounces went my way last year, so to say I expect to be in the title hunt come Homestead is unrealistic with the talent in this league. I am still confident in my skills and decision making, and happy with the new top speeds that I have hit over the past 2 months. My goal is to keep cranking out the Top 5s and try to win multiple races this season. As for Daytona, I am going to treat it like I did at Dega. Find my drafting partners, keep passing (chances for mistakes) to a minimum and try to make some separation from the rest of the field. I just want to come away from this one in one piece.

Pre-Race Interview:
1. What is your online racing history? Have you raced in other racing leagues and/or games?

I have been racing for online years. It started on old playstion titles, but my online racing began on xbox with old nascar and forza games. I switched to PS3 some years back and have been racing F1 and project cars titles for about 4 years. All my league racing now is with PrecisionRacingLeague.com where I am the F1 201x and Nascar Heat Evolution manager. I would race in pcars as well if not for my limited schedule. Love this site as it leads to great racing, but doesn't take itself too serious to the point where the fun element is lost. Glad to have you all here!

2. Tell us a bit about yourself, occupation/year in school? married? kids? hobbies? passions?
I am 31 years old and I live in Surprise, Arizona. I work two jobs, I am a Hearing Instrument Specialist (full-time) and I work part time at T-Mobile. I am married to a beautiful lady named Patricia (Pat) and have 2 children April (age 5) and Landon (age 2). Outside of video games my main hobby/passion is golf. I have been playing since I was around my daughters age and truly fell in love with the game. I played at a 8 handicap back when I was single and worked one job, but with my limited playing time now I currently carry a 14 handicap. I am a big sports fan, really about every major sport I try to follow. My favorite teams are all local Arizona teams, I am a "homer".

3. What are your expectations of this season? What goals do you have for Daytona and beyond?
I am really excited about this second season of ANHC. I plan to show a little more consistent speed this year. Didn't have a lot of practice time in season 1 and will try to improve that. My main goal each season of any racing league is to win the Team title. I enjoy working together with other drivers to make us all as fast as we can be. Personally I strive for top 5's each week and hope to contend for a few wins. I expect results to be a bit more difficult though, with the expansion to 16 cars in main races, and the roster filling up quite nicely we should see a very competitive field!

Pre-Race Interview:
1. What is your online racing history? Have you raced in other racing leagues and/or games?

I use to race online with the PC back in the early 2000's my last league participation was in 2003, with a Nascar game.  The league ran fixed set-ups and simulation damage, it was a blast.   School, jobs, and moving put an end to that.  So here I am 14 year's later, I've been playing the PS System for some time and just decided to give racing another go.  I've never attempted any other racing platform so when I saw Nascar was cheap on the shelf I said what the hell.  It's been a blast ever since!

2. Tell us a bit about yourself, occupation/year in school? married? kids? hobbies? passions?

I just turned 35 years old, and live in New York.  Two children (Gracie-5, Lily-4)  and married to my wife Brandi.  I work Law Enforcement, which is fun most days.  Other than racing, I like to play basketball and when the spring comes around I try my hand at (250-Racing Drones)-check 'em out.  I'll watch any NY sports team when they are playing, but root for the NY Giants above all.

3. What are your expectations of this season? What goals do you have for Daytona and beyond?

I'm excited to be a part of the league.  Goal #1 is to make it out of the LCQ.  I'm a rookie, so I understand I have to pay some dues and put in some practice.  My main objective is clean racing, if I'm caught then go ahead, I'll watch your line...learn and hopefully pass you back.  My expectation in the league is to run with a bunch of good racers who understand the #14 car isn't an alternate option to the brake pedal, which is standard in open Lobby's.  Hope to have lots of fun this season.

1. My online racing history dates back I'd say to the X box 360 and GTA IV, so 2008 before that I didn't have access to the internet. Since I've raced multiple titles online anything from Need for Speed, Mario Kart, every nascar title since 2009, and GTA V, which is probably my stomping grounds. I am in my second season as a league racer before joining PRL back in the fall I had no prior experience in league racing.

2. I'm probably in the middle of the group when it comes to age. I'm 21 years old hail from a small coal mining town in the mountains called Richlands (pronounced Rich Lands), VA. I have no kids and am currently unofficially engaged to my girlfriend. I am a junior at a small liberal arts college called Berea College in Kentucky studying Technology and Applied Design, or to put it in better terms an unofficial Engineering degree, fun fact Jack Roush graduated from Berea in the same thing that I'm studying. Obviously I have a passion for racing and I would love to somehow find my way into Nascar.

3. My expectations on the season are high I would love to steal a couple of wins and consistently run in the top 5 or Top 7. Although this will be a difficult challenge as the amount of talent in this league is outrageous. I have a lot of hope for Daytona to take the first win of the season since I have an act for restrictor plate racing, I also wouldn't be surprised to find myself leading some of the cookie cutter tracks, possibly stealing a win at one of those. I guess what I'm saying is that I hope to be the dark horse of the league.

Pre-Race Interview:
1. What is your online racing history? Have you raced in other racing leagues and/or games? Until this game came out, I had very little online racing experience. I raced offline before my racing career, ran very little during my career and then after I left the sport I left racing games behind as well. Other than a short stint with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car game on X-Box 360, I'd never raced online until NASCAR Heat Evolution came out! Obviously that means that this is the first league I've ever participated in and might be the only one I ever participate in. I love the PRL and you won't likely see me anywhere else unless it's completely unavoidable.

2. Tell us a bit about yourself, occupation/year in school? married? kids? hobbies? passions? I am a 31 year old warehouse manager at an Elevator company in Indiana. Happily married with two young boys, so I stay pretty busy and don't have many hobbies outside of league racing. I am passionate about creating a decent career where I can make sure my boys don't have to work their butts off for very little like I do, so I have a few side projects that I hope will catch fire eventually. Hard work and dedication is supposed to pay off, so I reccomend it highly.
3. What are your expectations of this season? What goals do you have for Daytona and beyond? Since I won't be able to complete the entire season due to my announcing job that starts in April, my goals for this season are simple; win as many races as possible. It's no easy task in a league this talented so I don't expect to take many wins before I leave, but I'm going to give it an honest shot. I would love to be attempting to defend my title here in the PRL, but not having the opportunity won't sour my experience in the slightest. I will be sure to follow the league as it progresses and I'm confident there will be a great and deserving champion that I can give the cup to after Homestead.

1. What is your online racing history? Have you raced in other racing leagues and/or games?
I have been playing video games since I was in elementary school, going back to the pc racing games of the 90's. But I didn't start racing online tell around 2010 on the PS3. My first online racing league was on on here. I joined PRL back in 2014, and started racing in the F1 league for North America. I ended up winning the championship in my rookie year and the team championship with Aaron :) I love PRl and this is the only site I have ever raced on.

2. Tell us a bit about yourself, occupation/year in school? married? kids? hobbies? passions?
I am a soon to be 29 year old, retail manager for Raley's in Northern Nevada. I am currently on a medical leave while trying to recover from a medical situation.I will be getting engaged this summer to my beautiful girl friend Taylor. She is a one of kind lady and has really been there for me during this scary uncertain journey I have been on. I am a huge sports and racing fan, and I love the summer time doing out door activities and going to the gym.

3. What are your expectations of this season? What goals do you have for Daytona and beyond?
Last Season we had 7 winners in 10 rounds. I think with how deep the field is we could see that almost double. I am confident in my speed, but not over confident. With Jobes, running a partial schedule this championship is wide open giving a lot of people hope. I would like to win multiple races and continue putting in top 5's to put myself in contention, but nothing is guaranteed . I think for Daytona it's going to about avoiding some of the wrecks and putting yourself in a good position towards the end of the race to get a good finish and if a few things fall your way perhaps come way with a big win Friday night.

1. What is your online racing history? Have you raced in other racing leagues and/or games?

I have been racing on console for quite some time, with many online league wins and championships. However, in my short time in PRL, I've enjoyed myself very much and see it as if not the best, the best all around league around. I also, like to jump on Rocket League for the occasional game or two.

2. Tell us a bit about yourself, occupation/year in school? married? kids? hobbies? passions?

Well, I'm 19, and I am a contributor at beyondtheflag.com. I'm not in a relationship at the moment, nor do I have any kids. I love to go bowling, go to drag races or to my local dirt track. I'm an avid all around Cleveland Sports fan, as well as Stewart-Haas Racing.

3. What are your expectations of this season? What goals do you have for Daytona and beyond?

Last year, I only ran 3 races with mixed results. I was fast at Texas, just terrible at Phoenix, and drove good and won Homestead. With the talent in PRL, I cannot predict where I'll run all year. My main goal tis year is to earn the respect from every driver from top to bottom in PRL. Secondly, I want to run top 5 and top 10 all season long and try and keep the Championship in Forward Byte's hands.

1. What is your online racing history? Have you raced in other racing leagues and/or games?
I was never really much of an online racer since I never had an internet enabled console until I got the PS4, so i have never raced other leagues. Most of my experience is from Gran Turismo 4 and Nascar 07 on PS2.
2. Tell us a bit about yourself, occupation/year in school? married? kids? hobbies? passions?
Im from Salt Lake City, Ut so not the region where you would expect a Nascar fan. I am currently and auto glass salesman for the largest regional auto glass shop and currently single. Besides work, all i do pretty much is play games, what else can you expect for a 19 year old, if not on my ps4 its on my custom gaming pc.
3. What are your expectations of this season? What goals do you have for Daytona and beyond?
I want to be able to consistently make the main event every week with this competitive field.

1. I haven't done much league racing. Was in a couple and both failed miserably due to lack of chemistry. I've been playing racing games my whole life though.
2. I'm 18, senior in HS, live in a suburb of Houston. Average suburban middle-class upbringings. Committed to Texas Tech to study Chemical Engineering and can't wait to "study" my ass off. Other than racing I love to watch baseball, football, and hockey, and watch playoff basketball. I love being active (like hiking, working out, etc) and doing stuff with friends.
3. I hope I can finally get a win this season. Last year I was consistently in the top 5, but could never finish the deal. My goal for Daytona is to be able to pull off the win, and for the season I'd at least like to finish with the most wins, if not the championship.

Hey guys, I made a YouTube video to help you drive for Daytona and Talladega if you are using a controller. I would appreciate if anyone is going to use a controller for racing, that you take the a few a few minutes to check it out to help us have a clean, smooth race.  Thanks.

I have been racing in NASCAR leagues since 2008, although this is my first league in a couple of years. I've only raced NASCAR leagues and just recently I purchased Project cars. I plan to race that game in leagues once I buy a T-150 and a nice gaming chair.

I'm 28 years old and I work full time as an electrician. With my uncle owning his own electrical business, I've been in and around the trade since I was 14 and have made a nice career out of it. I slacked quite a bit on getting the electrical license but I'm right or the verge of getting it this summer. I play dodgeball competitively, yes you read that right. A sport that any casual person would think is just a fun, social club type of activity, I travel the country and play teams across the country in the most competitive tournaments.

3. What are your expectations of this season? What goals do you have for Daytona and beyond?
I expext some fast, competitive, and most importantly, clean racing this season. With the majority of the S1 drivers returning, and some new fast drivers, I'd imagine racing to be that much better this season. PRL is the league you want to race in, there's no league out there that is as competitive. My goals for this season are to stay up front and fight for wins but with that said, I've learned from season 1 that you're not gunna win them all and taking a top 5 is just as important. The one race that sticks out to me from S1 is Dega. Running 2nd with no more than 5 laps to go, the lead slid high entering 1 and I went to duck in under and we touched and finished 8th. For me, I expect myself not to make those mistakes this season. As for Daytona, I've already set my goals high, I want a 1-4 Get off my lawn finish!

Qualified: 7th (Heat A finish: 4th)
There was so much jockeying for position during the start of qualifying, I am suprised I found the time to put in a top 10 lap. Regarldess, was happy to have a near the front starting position for the Heat. As for the Heat, I was fortunate enough to survive, for the most part, the big one that occured when I was making a pass for the lead and the leader came down and chopped my nose off. Feel bad for the field behind me and those who had to go to the LCQ due to that altercation upfront.

Race Finish: 1st!
The race itself was what most feared, tons of early caution laps. I hate restrictor plate racing. I am very fortunate that luck was in my favor at the end with my pit stop getting me out in front of Wardude, then War being content to push us to a 1-2 finish. I don't want to say that I don't take pride in this win because that would be a disrespect to this league and all the driver's last night who would have given anything to be in my position. Instead I will say that there was a bit of a cloud over this one due to several factors, including booting Aaron into the wall and costing him a good finish, and the extra stress that the team factors brought into this race.

I am looking forward to Atlanta coming up so we can all get some fun practice, and a fun race night back. Screw drafting positions and maximizing fuel strategies for whole teams. Lets have some fast cars, and may the fastest one win!

Q: 9th...Heat A-10th ... LCQ - 4th
Took DKGoML a bit of time to get organized then only got a couple good laps in before carnage. Was working my way into transfer spot in heat race, but again had trouble which took me out of the draft. Was lucky to make it through in the LCQ, finishing in the last tranfer spot.

R: 11th
The race became about getting into position for that last stop. Our team had fuel strategy planned out well and were in position to have all our cars near the front at the end. Unfortunately we had two mistakes happen that cost us finishing positions. With 20 to go, things were getting a little hairy and when the cars in front of me got out of shape I let off to stay off them, Hootius didn't realize it was happening until it was too late and he hit me in the rear fairly hard, which sent me into the fence, I was able to keep it straight, but was turned by oncoming cars and lost the draft. Unfortunately for me, there were no cautions after that and I was never able to catch back up. Sean was looking good to finish up front as well, but on the last stop, he missed the pits! This set him well back after stops and he finished back in the field as well. Proud of my teammates for finishing 1-2 and showing how well we can work together. Looking forward to starting the real racing next week in Atlanta! Is it Friday yet?

Q:15th(3rd LCQ)
Qualifying for this one was tough. Team Get off our lawn couldn't group up as we hoped too but I got out with the 8th fastest lap leading me to start 3rd in the heat. With 5 advancing, I was looking good off the bat until Sean and I connected. After dropping back to 10theventually, my mindset changed to getting a good LCQ starting spot. I fought my way back to 7th with a last lap pass for a key position. In the LCQ I was able to take 3rd while making sure my teammate, Aaronwebb85 also got into the main.

R:2nd
I was really hoping for a race with less cautions but this is a tough track to work with. The PRL drivers did a great job here, Daytona will always get the best of a 16 car field! I'm very happy with my finish and even more happy I was able to push teammate and good friend Hootius to a Daytona win! Without a couple of mishaps we could have seen all of team Get off our lawn in the top 5 following a great pit strategy but it unfortunately didn't work out that way. Testing has already begun for the Hooties 125 at Atlanta and the goal as always is to get the team a win!

Q: DNQ (Finished 10th in LCQ)
After some unfortunate contact with Aaron in the LCQ my night went up in flames. It got knocked off the track but very slight contact by Aaron and it sent me sliding like Kyle Bush in the Xfinity series a couple years back. I manged to save it before hitting bump on the apron, this thus sent me flying back up onto the racing surface ending several others run for the night. After that I wanted to get up and puke, but I managed to scrap together a 10th place (20th place) finish on a disappointing night that when it started had so much promise, fastest practice lap, fastest LCQ lap. I had speed but not the luck.
