And another query - are we going with mechanical failures? I know at least in the seasons I raced, we had them off.

Reasoning was, while unavoidable IRL, we were sure that any RL team would love to have them off too. However, we can avoid them. Doesn't seem fair that someone could get a clutch failure or engine blowout because some little RNG rolled a 427.

I will talk with Glenn but I agree it’s most likely they will be off

I will talk with Glenn but I agree it’s most likely they will be off 
Just damage at 100%  :D

Good race guys nice to see a good amount turning up, its great to get to know what everyone is like before the season and it looks like it will be a good one, had a good battle with james at the start shame he spun but was a good clean race from everyone see you guys next week!

I didn't get tyres swapped I think a couple others didn't as well

and Tiger got stuck in the pits. Seem odd but we will see!

For me it was fine i think the bug is if you dont toggle through the tyres in the in car menu it just leaves you on the same set you were on :)

Me and Glenn will have a look into this, this week and see if we can sort the problem out :D

I just refueled at the pit stop did, the tires did not change, drove the entire race on one set)
