Hey guys, looking at the times for this track, it seems to me that the Porsche RSR is at least a second per lap faster than any other car, so we may be adding Ballast to this car for this race and review it for the season, I made a mistake by entering it thinking it was GT3 but I do not want to mess people about by withdrawing it completely so hope those in the RSR understand why Ballast is being added. You still have time to change car if you wish! But I am not pressuring you to do so.

May I suggest that you run some test to figure out the perfect ballast

OK, I have added 40kg ballast to the Porsche RSR, its now 2 seconds faster than the next car with the same driver Giugui, so I will keep watching guiguis times and see how this affects it.

IMO the Porsche RSR should be banned from the championship. We still have more than 2 weeks to the start of the 1st official race so people who had chosen the RSR have plenty of time to pick a GT3 car and adjust their liveries.
There's other factors to be considered beside adding ballast like aerodinamics and grip.
Bottom line is: The RSR is not a GT3 car.

Sorry to all those who chose the Porsche RSR 2017, but after this pre season race it will not be a choice anymore as there is too much difference, some tracks more so than others, so to prevent any issues we have decided to withdraw this car so for all those already have it as a choice, you will need to re post in the team selection thread with another car...SORRY.

Remember that a pitstop for tires is compulsary, this will be enforced by the server, if no stop is made for tires the server will disregard your race. the stop has to take place anywhere between lap 1 and lap 17 although you are free to make as many stops as you want. Once we get used to the idea of a pit window, we will tighten the window to a fewer lap window.

Can you please inform us of a car you would like to use before you join the server so we can assign that car to your username, otherwise it will assign someone elses car to you leaving them without and then we have a messed up server, please try and do this before the 60 minute practice session starts.

There will be a password to get on the server, this will be displayed in the Team Speak channel, look on the right hand side panel and scroll down until you see it.
