Team PRL (Jerome Berthiaume, Dany Duchesne, Carsten Quint, Kerlan Andrew and more) have a fair amount of endurance races of experience and we would like to share some tips to you. We are not the fastest team, but we have build a solid core group which allow us to win the 12h of Sebring in 2017 (Division 6)! Feel free to share your experience here and to comment!

[li]Host practice sessions to practice with your team and with everyone who signup. Practice is the key![/li]
[li]Test your setup with long run.[/li]
[li]Test stint duration and build a schedule with your team. i.e.: 10h am to 12h pm (Jerome) / 12h pm to 2 pm (Dany), etc...[/li]
[li]Calculate the pitstop time.[/li]
[li]Evaluate if it worth to change tires at every stop or not.[/li]
[li]Endurance races are exhausting! Avoid to make too long stint for better consistency. 4 hours maximum.[/li]
[li]You must keep your car clean! Use the setup in which the team is more comfortable. Being consistent is more rewarding than being fast![/li]
[li]NEVER GIVE UP! Even if you crash, get your car repaired. Even if you ended up 3 laps down, if there is still more than a hour to race, you can gain some spot![/li]
[li]Respect the blue flag, this is VERY IMPORTANT in endurance race.[/li]
[li]Adjust the tire pressure depending on the track & weather condition.[/li]
[li]Drink a lot of water when you pit![/li]
[/ul]
Have fun!
