Question about the IMSA selection: Because we run on Tuesdays, would the schedule result in us racing on the 1st Day of the Week, or the day after the Week of that track is over?

Good question...probably next day it's over, so we all have a setup

FWIW, my thought process is this - While it's nice to have a variety of tracks through a week, I'm considering not racing this league next season because it doesn't follow the iRacing schedule. Right now I'm focused on building my IR in the IMSA series (in addition to BES racing). Because of that I'm spending more time practicing each week for yet another track and it takes up too much time. If it followed the schedule, this race could basically be practice for the week to come and become a really nice utility actually. Not to mention I'm really enjoying this league!

I'm going to have to agree. Today was a perfect example of how to stunt our League's growth. I'd rather face all of you with setups and a week to race on a track, than to have to race a completely different track, rummage for a decent setup, and spend additional hours away from family, kids, work, etc.

I respect the final decision of the league, but may have to base my own participation on whether or not additional time will be required going with our own schedule.

Thanks for reading.

I like league racing vs random people on Iracing so it does not matter I will be racing league stuff you guys set the tracks be it following Iracing it matters none to me. We have a good crowd of racers all the drama aside and we are all getting faster as we go. If it would help to follow Iracing to get more members go for it.

Im totally agree with Nick,
To unify the effort for PRL and IMSA will make PRL Tournament even more atractive, at least for me, it is hard to find the time, in fact I havent raced any official race since joined PRL, Im committed to improve in PRL, I hope to "follow IMSA" option get the win!

Run whatever you want. I prefer leagues to official iRacing anyway. I like knowing who the drivers are week to week that will be tough to beat. That gives you a measuring stick by which to see if you are improving.

Are we still planning on having a drop week ?

Yes there will be one drop week

Also take a look at the new Friday night endurance forum. We will have multi class car like LeMans series (LMP1, HPD, GTE), with 2 hours race length
