Was wondering what people think about doing GTE over GT3. I think the cars are more fun and from the few races I've done very good wheel to wheel. Only issue with them is the smaller car selection.

Yeah I agree with this they are just that bit quicker but the racing is absolutely fab with them

I think I already mentioned this to you Glenn but I'd definitely prefer to keep it as GT3. There's more choice of cars with varing levels of assists and the speed difference between 3 and E really isn't that much. Plus, I've already chosen what car I'd like to use and have had more practice with that class already. Not the end of the world if we change it, but I just don't really see the point...

I don't mind one way or the other. I'll drive anything, but make a final decision sooner rather than later. Lot of testing all the cars and setting up and stuff before the season starts.
Speaking of assists, we're going with real assists correct?

My assement of the GTE field all laps done around Cataluna

Bmw: 01:44:9 : Very very stable in high speed corners and low speed only thing is its top speed is apparently a lot slower than others

Ferrari: 01:45:0 : Felt nice was good into slow speed bit touchy on high speed

Corvette: 01:45.1 : Again solid car not much else to say

Ford: 01:45.9 : very good car good all round thought it would be fastest. Was the 1st car I tried so can do better I think

Aston: 01:46.1 : What to say about the Aston very much has the issues

I think the GTE class is easier than GT3 and a lot more fun to drive. Wheel to wheel is good it both but GTE has less understeer and easier on the brakes so its less of a risk

Give it a try Sam the Ferrari is planted and the others are also good the only one I wouldn't recommend is the Aston

After much deliberation - and nagging - I've conceded that GTE would be better for the league. If we stay with GT3 I wouldn't really mind if that's what everyone else wants...

Can we put it to a vote and get it decided sooner rather than later. My time is limited atm so I'd like to not waste practising something irrelevant.
