Hello Gents, I was watching Kryptic_TMG's GT3 class testing and had an idea. The problem with those tests is that they are very subjective. It's just one guys results on one track. Another person on another track could get totally different results. So, here's my idea.
We get multiple drivers to test each car for an extended period on multiple tracks and log their lap times. Then for each car/track combo, we take the average of the best lap times for each driver, and average those together. We then put those in order and we have a fastest to slowest rating for that track. Then we take those ratings and add them up. The lowest total is your fastest car overall.
We'd have to sort out whether we are going to use stock setups or allow tweaks, and we'd have to stick with one weather and season setting to take out those variables. We could make a youtube video with our results. I guarantee it'd get a ton of views and would probably get a lot of people to join PRL.
Thoughts?
