Extending the Season or New Season?

Hey guys,

Since we have not had any news from Codemasters about F1 2017, we have 2 choices. Extending this season to a full 21 races (so we will add the remaining 6 races), or starting a brand new 21 races season (will end beginning of October which is where I expect to see F1 2017).

I voted for new season. I can't stick around past the next race, the iRacing series I have joined started last night. I just don't have the time to run 2 series at once. Sorry if that's a bummer.

As I joined this season late, I'd rather have the points reset.  Also, I don't know if you saw my other post, but it would be nice to line the races up with the real F1 races as much as possible (we do the race on the Wednesday after).

Well, I'm in the process of negotiating a new contract with Mercedes. However, Paul, the lead driver for Mercedes, must sign off on my contract as well. I am currently waiting on Paul's response. It really does not matter what way management wants to proceed with the season. I am okay with continuing, or starting a brand new season

I'd love to see a new season, especially with me joining halfway through, i think it would also help with getting new people in if they didnt join in 200 points down

New championship requires more work for current championship leaders. As it is, I only open the way to the leaders.

I suggest we reset the points and start fresh. New people have joined and up until this point we have all been racing as if the season was coming to a close. To me it's unfair to everyone top and bottom to add races to a previous agreed upon schedule 95% of the way through. If we were at the half way point I would kind of understand but we are at the last race of the season and to change it now isn't right. JMO
But it's just a video game and I'm going to keep playing with you guys no matter what we do.
