You keep trying to encourage people to use the forum, so why not put a post on the forum explaining the situation.

I still don't understand why though. There were 9 in the first race. 1 has had to drop out due to a broken wheel, but 2 more have signed up since & 1 other was going to miss the first race anyway. So you have at least 10 signed up (8 of which have raced.)

Now look at the American XB1 LMP series. 18 sign ups, 3 of which haven't raced at all. Only 10 raced in round 3. So you should be cancelling that to.

Also in the email it says it's partly because PCars online is bugged, but you are still running the American series!!

makes no sense.

I think you may have scared everybody off by just cancelling the series without warning. Tuesday wasn't really a great day for me so I was only doing this series because it was there already so to speak.

I was merely indicating to people where they could go to race PCars after you pulled the rug from under their feet. You are not running any series on a Friday so in no way would it interfere with the activities of your site.

What you do on xbox is your business. But on this whole website, even in PM it's not allowed to promote other leagues.

Alright, i'm gonna be honest with everybody here then, THE REAL REASON season WAS/IS cancelled:

I didn't wanna continue as an organiser on THIS league. Why? I was doing a lot of work, and spending a lot of time on the series.
All i got was discussions, and nobody being active on the forums. So i was feeling i was doing it all for nothing.

So that evening i messaged everybody the race was gonna be postponed, with in my mind, i had to talk to Jerome to find a solution before we did continue.

I messaged Jerome that i wasn't gonna continue, and it was better to find another organiser or someone who wanted to take it over from me.
He decided to close the championship. You guys opened this topic and after a couple of messages he did notice people did wanna continue. So he was asking if someone was interesting in the organisation of it. WITH NO REPLY'S YET.

as far as I can see the majority of the work is already done, the calendar is set, racers were signed up, if a new host was needed or some help with results to keep it going then a polite request while we were online after the race or a message on the forum/email after might have got you the help you needed.

as far as I can see this site has 16 organisers - running 11/12 series - maybe help could have come from within this very site?

I didn't sign up to a race series to then have to take over the running of it. (if it had not been on a Tuesday then maybe I might have taken it on)

There is more playing on the background, i'm the only european xbox organiser on this website. All others are american.
I told you the story, that's the way it is.

And because nobody is interested in taking over, like you said, we cancelled it.

For now i'm not gonna reply anymore in this discussion, because this is also one of the reasons why i stopped.

You seem active... want to organise it?

You'll have to:

- Host the races
- Update the attendance log after each race
- Create the race topic
- Take the screenshots of quali and race results
- Upload the screenshot on our FTP
- Update the Google Drive results spreadsheet every week.

P.S.: Just so you know, creating the signup topic and everything around is the easiest part as we only copy/paste from previous season
