Car Numbers and Team Selections

In Season 6, the League will consist of up to 8 teams of 2 drivers competing for the Team Championship using the Monster Energy Cup Series. While the teammates do not need to drive cars that are real team cars in NASCAR, you must both driver the same car manufacturer. You are encouraged to come up with a team name.

[li]The Top 3 returning drivers from the previous season's points standing, and any multi-race winners from previous seasons who might be outside of the Top 3, can not team together. Those drivers are:[/li]
[li]vWardude, KDawgHonda777 and JakeGirouX24[/li]
[li]Before we hold the first Pre-Season race, we will select our cars for the season. Below is how that will happen:[/li]

[li]First off, we will allow custom cars in Season 6. Only 4 numbers are available, so they will be First come, First Serve.[/li]
[li]The selection order will be based off of the final points standings from Season 5, followed by sign up order for new drivers.[/li]
[li]The last season's winner will have the first pick, so he will announce his teammate (if already chosen), which manufacturer they will be using, and which car # he wishes to drive. The teammate will have to wait til it is their turn to pick before declaring a car #.[/li]
[li]The next driver in order will then select their car, and teammate if they have not already been declared as part of a team.[/li]
[li]We encourage you all to talk to other driver's in advance to organize your team (do not just pick a random driver in the league who you think is fast. Not cool since they may have already spoken to someone else about teaming up).[/li]
[li]If it comes down to your pick and you do not have a team in place, you may pick any car number still available and will be paired up with another driver who selects the same manufacturer.[/li]
[li]Reserve drivers may pick any remaining car available, however you may have to change your car in the future based on the manufacturer needs if promoted to a Full-Time position.[/li]

We’re happy to announce that we’ve extended our manufacture contracts with Chevrolet and KDawgHonda777 will racing in the #42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet & we’re very happy to announce the return to Forward Byte after not coming to terms to return the previous season that Sassafrass_3 has come to terms on a contract to return this season for us.
