Broadcast Opportunity!

Hey guys!

I've contacted a few broadcast service and I've received a quote to have the last 8 races of the season broadcasted on iRacing Live by Global Sim Racing! It would cost $440 USD for 8 races. I'm opening this topic to know if anyone of you know a sponsor who will be willing to donate money?

I also want to know if anyone of you would be willing to donate money and how much? If you want to express yourself about that privately, please contact me through a private message.

PRL will also put money into it, but we can't cover everything.

Here is the list of everything GSRC are doing:

[li]720p 1280×720 pixel 60fps live broadcast streamed to YouTube Live. (and iRacing Live, I have a contact)[/li]
[li]GSRC custom camera angles for every track.[/li]
[li]Minimum two commentators (3 for multi-class series).[/li]
[li]One director responsible for streaming the race which allows the commentators to focus on commentating.[/li]
[li]Fifteen minutes of pre-race introduction. Includes a pre-made video lap guide about the challenges and features of each track, custom graphics for the series or race details and championship points (as long as information on the points are provided to us).[/li]
[li]Fifteen minutes of post-race wrap-up. Includes optional post-race driver interviews via Teamspeak with preference to podium finishers.[/li]
[li]Your existing branding incorporated into our broadcast including any specific sponsorship needs.[/li]
[/ul]
They might also cover the last 5 minutes of qualifying.

Hey jeromef1, it would be a pretty cool addition to the races. how much would PRL be able to cover? Knowing this may make it easier for everyone to contribute if they wanted. As it stands if I am not mistaken, if all racers contributed it would only cost $14 /driver (based on 30 in the league). That's pretty good for having full commentary on the final 8 races.

To get it started, PRL is willing to give $200 USD. Means we will need $240 USD.

Failling to get the money, I'll check to still broadcast the last two race of the season.

I'd be willing to contribute. For that amount if all racers joined in it be less than ten bucks each.

Do you have to pay upfront or race by race? I could chip in 15-25 bucks every 2 weeks if that helps.
