Announcement: Season of 9 races

Hey guys!

Unfortunately, after review, we can't postpone first round that has been cancelled at the end of the season. The last race of this season is Feb 25th and it will be the last week of the official iRacing season. If we postpone Montreal on the week after, we will be right at the beginning of the Week 13, and then, the new build. It means we could face issue with the new build and, mainly, faced BoP on GTE Cars. This is too risky to race under these conditions as a season final.

We are sorry for the inconveniences and it's lesson learned for the future.

Just to keep everyone informed, here is the answer from the ticket I've opened to iRacing:

Hi Jérôme,

Apologies for the delayed response.
We actually did find a hardware fault on the server hosting this session which could cause a sporadic performance issue under certain circumstances.  We have removed this server from the rotation and are awaiting replacement hardware.  We have adjusted performance monitoring to better capture this scenario in the future and do not expect a recurrence of this behavior to affect races going forward.
