[ul]
[li]How to qualify[/li]
[li]12 total chase spots[/li]
[li]Win and your in[/li]
[li]Remaining spots to be filled by the top X in points.[/li]
[li]Missing more than 2 races in the regular season will disqualify you from the chase.[/li]
[/ul]

Remember that each driver is allowed 1 drop week that will not be factored in until the conclusion of the final race on this Sunday.

Example. Winning a race or being 1st in points but missing more than 2 races for any reason means you don't qualify.

[li]How it will operate.[/li]
[li]Chase drivers will be added to a separate  spreadsheet. That sheet will be posted here.[/li]
[li]The 12 drivers will have their points set at 1000 points each. Each win a driver has at the end of the regular season will earn them 3 bonus points.[/li]
[li]For each of the 4 rounds, drivers will earn their points as they would in the regular season including bonus points. (Ex. 1st place 40, 2nd place 39, etc.)[/li]
[/ul]

Following Round 2 of the Playoffs, the bottom 6 of the contenders will be dropped from the championship picture. Following this the remaining 6 drivers will compete in the following 2 rounds to determine the overall victor.

I took the time to do something for this league that has done so much for me and my wife. I will start of by saying Thank you to Chris Perez who drove half way across the us to be with me and my wife on are wedding day. he is a great guy and it was awesome having him there. then you have a guy like Jerome who has gone out of his way for me on somethings and it is greatly appreciated. wish we could have hooked up when we were in Montreal on vacation. then you have a guy like Eddie hawks who opened his home up to me and my wife while we were traveling like we were friends for decades. it may have only been for a few hours but man it was nice meeting ya Eddie. then there is that infamous guy named Paul that while we were in mobile Alabama on our honey moon he offered to meet up for lunch. well typical Paul he missed his breaking point and went right by lol sorry Paul had to. I have been with this league for a very long time and have won several championships. every season the challengers get harder and harder. its really good to know there is a group of guys on here that if any of us had a problem we would step up. I'm looking forward to many more seasons and many more great races.

The trophy I made is not a perfect trophy by any means I mean I work out of a 10 by 12 office lol but its the thought and the feeling that you may soon hoist that trophy up for a pic to be posted to the leagues past champions. thank you all for your participation and wish y'all the best in the chase for the title.

P.S. there is talk already started with Brandon and I and I will include Jerome and Chris and Eddie to start making a trophy for next season and maybe even a team championship trophy. this way I will have longer time to make it right. There's roughly almost 500 hours into the trophy between printing and sanding and painting and airbrushing. so on that note cheers to the person that hoists it at the end of the season

This is cool as hell! I think it was YOU missed you're braking point, you forgot to stop! LOL! It's been really cool to have been in this league since almost the beginning, I think I joined season 2. I still remember my first ever race, old Daytona, Someone Named John Labaff running me into the wall.... :)

A small change has been made to the starting points for all 12 drivers locked into the chase. After reviewing numbers and further discussion we have come to the following change.

All drivers will start at 1000 points each. This is in contrast to 1st starting at 1000 and going down 2 points for each position

Each win a driver receives in the regular season will earn them 3 bonus points at the start of the chase.

This should make the Chase closer to a field reset than the other model and will also make winning mean a little more in terms of the Chase. This format will not change again going forward
