2021 S1 WK2 Track Vote

As stated in Monday's Driver Meeting:

The schedule as submitted to iRacing for The VRS Sprint Series has us starting @ Spa for WK1 on 12/21/20
Then we have a week off for the holiday's.
We are then scheduled to pick back up in WK3 which is Donington. Where just just raced .
My proposal is to replace Donington with Nürburgring Combined & Gesamtstrecke VLN
One thing to consider is that this will be the only time we will be able to race that configuration as it's not broadcast.
We've had it broadcast in the past and there's just not enough close racing and it's difficult for the broadcasters to follow .

I know I'm gonna be a noob in the series and not be able to race all the races next season, but I want to vote for either a free track or one of the NASCAR road courses. That way there is at least one more track I can run in my first season lol. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Too late for that.
The season track vote is done in the VRS Sprint Series forum on iRacing.
The poll for that ended a while ago.

Looks like WK8 is the only free track Laguna Seca
This is just to choose if we go off the WK 3 schedule .

Wk6 and Wk9 are free tracks as well, Oran and Oulton

Don't be scared of The Green Hell.
If we end up going that direction, I will be hosting sessions.
And while I'm far from the fastest, I know this track well and will run laps with anyone who wants.
Also , I will be proposing some ideas in the organizers forum.
Somewhat shorter practice and longer qualifying.
Seeing as it's 8:25 ish per lap on average, 2 laps are not enough.

This is a tough one... I love Donington, but it hates me. I'm not great on Green Hell, but if I drive 50kph the whole race I could come in well just based on keeping it on the track

For me Donington is fun, just have problems with the last section.
I've done several endurance races @ the Ring. Patience is important.
Although I'm much better on the 24hr course, The VLN course is nice as it uses a section of the track we just raced.
Guys that are good there will have a big advantage.
I've been able to put together several 0x laps together just keeping my cool.
Once I try to beat my optimal is when things go wrong quickly.

I changed my vote From Donn to G-VLN ... I'm an average driver, and I've never driven the G-VLN before, but some "learning" sessions would be a great help. Maybe this is the year I finally learn the Green Hell

There's plenty of time to practice.
Some people just hate the track because it's so challenging.

I changed my vote From Donn to G-VLN ... I'm an average driver, and I've never driven the G-VLN before, but some "learning" sessions would be a great help. Maybe this is the year I finally learn the Green Hell

Once you get it, you'll want more.
I've tested with both my beloved AMG and the Audi.
AMG is super stable. Audi wicked fast but easy to bin.
