Just a quick update from the stewards as we begin 2021 S1 at PRL.

We will be keeping the current token based protest system in place for this season. Each driver will have 2 protest tokens per season (per series). A successful protest will return the first token back to the driver. The idea behind this system is to prevent and reduce the number of frivolous protests sent to the stewards.

Based on feedback from last season, we will be going back to the major / minor penalty system. This system seems to work better for all involved. Penalties can range from warnings up to and including race, season, or permanent bans depending upon the circumstances. As always, management reserves the right to deviate from the penalty matrix as required.

Car multipliers are back for 2021S1. In any at-fault major incident involving multiple cars, the driver found to be at fault for the incident will be penalized additional points and/or time for each additional car collected in the incident.

If anyone has any questions regarding any aspects of the Stewarding system as it applies to our road series, please reach out.

Thanks - good luck to all this season.

Does this mean penalties will be time based or are we still doing pit start penalties?

We want to encourage safe, smart driving. Penalties will be stiffer than the 5/10-point penalties of the past. Dumb driving will surely net a DSQ.

Should be fun! :ROFLMAO:
