Well, Here We Are - Week 5!
Lately, due to attendance and gaps of skill differences during our @NASCAR Truck Series 2021/S3 events, we believe official practice sessions should be announced/reminded for those who may need additional seat time without the nonsense that is official practices and learning how other drivers in your series perform! Some of our more experienced league drivers may already be familiar with the hosted practices, but our series contains a lot of new faces that aren't familiar with our rules, tandem drafting techniques, or being spatially aware of other drivers. We highly recommend each driver to participate each week:
Especially if you believe you're struggling to keep pace or willing to learn something new (or even willing to help coach).* The next step is finding which day we should create these private sessions; attendance is not mandatory, although if we consistently have poor turn-outs, we may have to consider cancelling these exclusive sessions.
Practice Makes Perfect....Perks?
- Learn from the best within our league
- Gain additional seat time
- Find how to use the draft to your advantage
- Focus on pit entry and/or exits
- Help improve our broadcasted races by lowering cautions and performing the best everyone can - every week.
Sounds exciting, right? Take the first step and vote! ✔
We're even considering Brad Holly (#184) hosting group master classes during these sessions where everyone can join in on the PRL discord/channel (where screen sharing is possible!) to analyze the track, discover the best lines, find braking points, adjust setups, or ask any questions you may have... In other words: a giant cheat sheet!
* An additional poll will be created in the near future to establish start times so everyone has the opportunity to join in on the fun to the best of our abilities.
