P1 Great start ! :)

2) It's always important to keep improving as a driver, what are your strengths and weaknesses with this game?

i think my biggest weakness is just lack of practice, last season i pretty much just showed up to every race unpracticed this season i am doing a little more but still not that much ( just getting a set up and testing it so im comfortable )

3) After Easter Break we are in Japan where championships have been won and lost. What will be the key to doing well here?
Keeping the tyres in good shape so you can do consistent lap times around here is the key i think as you want your fronts to be working through out the stint

1) Week #1 is in the books, if you can remember (lol) how did your race go two weeks ago?
After qualifying better than expected and finishing in the points in 10th place. I feel it was a successful week for my F1 debut in the PRL.

2) It's always important to keep improving as a driver, what are your strengths and weaknesses with this game?
Fast "S" corners seem to be my worst nightmare. If i mess even a little bit up at the start the whole section is over for me. Tire wear is something I still need to work on as I chew through tires like there's no tomorrow. But strengths I think would be that I'm able to drive deep into a corner and late brake with the best of them, everything after is hit or miss.

3)  After Easter Break we are in Japan where championships have been won and lost.  What will be the key to doing well here?
Maintaining speed through the fast sweeping corners and keeping all 4 tires off the grass and on the track.

1) Week #1 is in the books, if you can remember (lol) how did your race go two weeks ago?
I was very happy with my race. I knew I didn't have up front speed, so I just tried to keep my nose clean, take care of the tyres for the 2 stop strategy, and keep it consistent. Everything worked out and I took advantage of some other's misfortunes to gain a couple extra spots than what I deserved.

2) It's always important to keep improving as a driver, what are your strengths and weaknesses with this game?
Ummm, I guess overall is my weakness lol I need to improve with control so I can feel comfortable taking off traction control while in a league race. Until that happens however, I will keep it on because the last thing I want to do is ruin anyone else's race around me. For both F1 and ProjCars, I also need to improve on pushing my car more to the limit. I am more of an oval guy, so it is more natural to focus on being smooth then to pushing the car harder, especially on turn exits. I have only really been racing circuits now for  about 5 months, so just need to keep at it.

3)  After Easter Break we are in Japan where championships have been won and lost.  What will be the key to doing well here? Turns 3-7 I think will be the key. Losing speed in this section will murder lap times. Also as we saw last year, it is easy to get into trouble while in traffic in that section.

1) Week #1 is in the books, if you can remember (lol) how did your race go two weeks ago?
I can't remember what I had for dinner last night, you expect me to remember 2 weeks? Well I finished 4th and that's about where I should have finished so I was happy :)
2) It's always important to keep improving as a driver, what are your strengths and weaknesses with this game?
I feel I have the speed to be quick at most circuits, but can ruin finishes with self inflicted mistakes. Whether it's taking off a wing, or speeding into the pit lane it seems every week I do something dumb and cost myself points.
3)  After Easter Break we are in Japan where championships have been won and lost.  What will be the key to doing well here?
Definitely keeping it on the circuit. There are a lot of corners where going just off the track will send you spinning into the gravel or possibly a wall. It's a technical circuit so I see consistency being key here.

1) Week #1 is in the books, if you can remember (lol) how did your race go two weeks ago?
I finished second behind my team-mate, having been spun out of the lead on lap 1. I would have preferred to have avoided that incident as I may be answering this question in the championship lead otherwise.
2) It's always important to keep improving as a driver, what are your strengths and weaknesses with this game?
Without giving away secrets... maybe I shouldn't answer this question. Bwoah, for sure, I find the maximum, and I think we have to be happy with that.
3) After Easter Break we are in Japan where championships have been won and lost. What will be the key to doing well here?
Qualifying well and not falling off the road.

1) Week #1 is in the books, if you can remember (lol) how did your race go two weeks ago?
It was going pretty well until I encountered some lag, and then later on in the race I made a big lockup and had to settle for P5.

2) It's always important to keep improving as a driver, what are your strengths and weaknesses with this game?
I believe that I am not consistent enough on the brakes sometimes and probably the hardest part is not getting caught up in an incident as it is so easy to with this game.

3)  After Easter Break we are in Japan where championships have been won and lost.  What will be the key to doing well here?
I tend to like this track a lot but I do not think I have ever won it.  I remember Jerome beating me on the very last lap in a very close 3 way battle with SIR TALLLAY on our first PRL PC season on PC.

Q:5TH
Went on mediums and set a decent lap time and realised i was only 2nd to mystic on meds so on my last run i decided to abort even though i was setting purple sectors
r: 2nd
what a start.... could of easily been collected in the carnage and got a front row view of it. After that i knew i had a good pace advantage on the rest of the remaining cars i decided to pit lap 9 to put on hards and for some reason merc put on mediums, which completely ruined my strategy as i started on meds so mandatory tyre is hards. and basically gave the leaders the advantage as we where running the same strategy from there on out just me pitting 1 lap later than them although i managed to catch a 6 second gap when i pitted for hards and got it down to 2.2 although when i was mucking around with fuel gage about to really put the pressure on nick i clipped the grass and i hit my wing luckily i didnt take a tyre off, and from there on out it was all about keeping meebe behind as i lost time and my wing was damaged to yellow. So in the grand scheme of things im happy to finish 2nd but this race in particular i felt like i could of won if it werent for those 2 issues, well done to nick

Q: 16th
I was hitting high 35s in my solo practice rounds and TT, so I thought that I could show some legit Top 10 speed for once. Unfortunately my game locked up trying to go into the menu to check the weather, and I was force to close the game and not put a lap in.

R: 9th
I was very cautious off of the lights because I did not want to risk a drive through penalty. Then this happened:
https://clips.twitch.tv/JoyousPuzzledSa ... eLightning
Jobes' car was not on the formation lap, and I never saw that coming. Looking just barely in the corner of my mirror, you can see the car magically appear for the lights. So I had to pit at the end of L1 and get my nose fixed. I went ahead and put on Hards for the heck out it, and made them last for 15 laps. Pitted one more time and easily rode the other pair of Hards for the rest of the race. With all of the fast cars that had issues, I might have been able to turn this race into a personal best if it was not for that starting issue. Stinks I never had a shot either to put down a non-embarrassing lap since I didn't complete a lap on either of the softer compounds. But hey, 2 pts is 2 pts and now I'll shift my focus to the roundy-round cars for Friday night.

Q: 3rd
Lost it on my first lap and had an average lap on my only other set of softs.

R: DNF
Got to turn 1 on the outside of Mystic but got no further. My view shows him leaving no room on the outside which in turn terminally damages me and sends me across the track taking out both Haas. The lag the plagued me in every race since patch 4.50 was patched and I have seen no lag since. Looking at Aaron's footage I certainly shoot across the track but that doesn't seem too far off what actually happened as I ping right after already being out of the race. The contact occurred before the lag and swipe to the right in other words.

Championship-wise this may mean Mercedes' best bet is now Dubzzy as I've been hit in both races now and am already 25 points behind him.

Also, shame on Mystic for purposefully crashing himself later in the sector. Not only is that detrimental to his own points tally as I'm sure there were decent points still available to him but it could have caused an SC and altered the race for others. Rage quit aside, that's not the mentality of a champion.

Q: 13th
This track is one of those tracks that I am not strong at. Having the high speed corners and using a gamepad doesn't usually go hand in hand. But it is what it is and I was just looking to survive the race.
R: 11th
I was extremely patient during the start. Could've passed a few guys but felt it best to just hang back as I'd probably just create more problems than anything. Nearing the mid point of the race I started to understeer like crazy and it was hell trying to make those transition corners work as I'm sure whoever would've been behind me would've witnessed as I was all over the track. I did my best to just let the faster guys pass when I could, unfortunately I understeered a bit too much while Aaron was behind me and I'm pretty sure I caused him to go off the track. But finishing the race was key and finishing only one spot out of points was a huge positive for me.

Quali - P2
I ended up starting on the Softs because I felt like I could potentially be stuck in some tough traffic and also was not convinced it was best for the race because the soft seemed to be faster by a decent amount.  It may not have been the best strategy though.

Race P1
I got a pretty good start and then got lucky I was just in front of the explosion.  I was able to stay up with Mebbe in the slip stream and as the tires were wearing I slowly began to catch him up as he dove into the pits.

I got lucky that Mebbe ended up with a speeding penalty, which now meant Dubbbzy was the one to stay ahead of.  He seemed to have some pace on me and was slowly catching me.  I decided that I needed to make sure I pitted a lap before as it seemed he could catch me pretty well in the first half of the stint but as the tires wore the gains were less and less.

To my luck he also made a mistake and this put it out of reach.  I think it would have been a crazy end if not.  Great job for the other podium finishers, and I finally got a win here, although a lot of people had issues and I was able to stay consistent and capitalize on it.

Q:15
I was pretty unprepared going in, and the fact that my game froze during qualifying didn't help, so couldn't set a time.

R:4
I decided to follow the 2 stop strategy after about 5 seconds of contemplating. I got major wheel spin at the start and all of a sudden (due to the 1st corner crash) got up to like 11th. First stint I got up towards 8th, but was sliding everywhere. 2nd stint was pretty lonely, was running 5th when the vsc and pit during. Came back out 5th and unfortunately for Gordow he had to pit on the last lap, which put me in 4th. Good first league race for me after about 5 years of waiting to do one. :)

This is now the 3rd PoV from someone who had eyes on the incident showing at no point was there actual contact and the lag from majacko is what ended his race and caused a big incident. Yes i did make it tight but again no contact till after his car goes wild.  We both aren't noobies and could've made it thru there had there not been lag.

I usually stream my races so i don't have to worry about manually saving clips. Anyways i wasn't streaming that night and because i rage quit off the game i couldn't/didn't save the clip. Only footage available of the incident is majackos, Aarons, dubzzys, and nicks povs.
