**Ideas for the next Friday Season**

Post by Hootius » Tue Jan 29, 2019 3:59 pm

Hey guys. We want to keep the every other Friday League going since it has provided us with some really fun racing without the stress of of being a cut-throat competitive league. So with that, we'd like to have your input. We know attendance droped cuz street stocks aren't the most popular thing in the world, and some of these set ups have been questionable at best. So I'd like to gather your ideas on some combos that would be fun for this next season (with default setups in mind). We're not against using different cars throughout the season!!! And want to keep the mix of ovals and road courses. We would prefer to try to keep as much free content as possible, but the occasion paid content here or there is not a deal breaker since we would like our new iRacing guys, and console guys who are converting to iRacing to have a way to get their feet wet with us. So start tossin' some combos that you like to see and I'll get a list going so we can start planning for the next season.

Id like to keep Friday nights pretty casual. Different cars with a mix of oval and road would be perfect. Also cool with it staying free content if that’s what makes it easier for people to join us. MX5’s, Skippy, Indycars at Indy, Those C Class Trucks, and even the occasional Street Stocks at Charlotte.

If you want to use paid content, I’m always down for anything open wheel, GTE’s, GT3’s, DP’s, Lotus 79’s even?

I think i own all the tracks on the road side. I only own a handful of oval tracks. But i don’t mind buying a track or two if the racing is worth it!

I run multiple other leagues that have open setups oval wise, and for like coming race at Concord I have sent a setup so we will have one that isnt 5 ft in the ground and is actually drivable. I don’t mind sharing some setups on the oval side so the racing is even more competitive!!

It would be cool to have a random selection of cars and tracks through the season. Maybe not announce the track until practice opens on Fridays so there is no true advantage to those who have more time available for practice. Would be cool to include the free GRC stuff too.

I don´t care about the car we use next season...
About circuits..., well... if I need to buy a couple, no problem...
And the setups meaning I vote for FIXED !!!! I believe it´s great idea if Kyle share better setups to be more competitive, but SAME setups for everybody.
Guys, I´m almost 60 years and participated in a LOT of Leagues in the past.
I swear this is the best League I participated.
You´re a great bunch of gentlemen drivers.

And finally, the Paul Wildridge idea sounds AMAZING for me !!!! 100% agree with that !!!! AND FUN !!!!
