Hi everyone,

I just noticed that this league is no longer showing up in my leagues on iRacing, nor is there anything in my league sessions.  Have I been removed from the league?  I was looking forward to racing with you tonight.

1. Road America is a classical circuit! What are your thoughts on this circuit?
Very tough circuit to master.  Any small error and your lap time is crushed into the red.  While I enjoy the challenge it offers, it is not one of my favorite tracks to race.

2. First round went really well last week! Who do you think will be your main opponent this season?
There is a lot of talent in this league but my real opponent is myself.  I am trying to rise above the mid pack level and that is all down to me, not my opponents.  While I crack jokes about Ben and Christian perpetually leading from the front, they are the perfect benchmark for people like me.  If and when I can run with those guys I will have the pride of knowing I clawed my way up there.  While not an opponent, as it would mean I have to be able to challenge them, my current goal is to keep pace with Kenny.

3. What is your racing rig?
Open wheeler rig with Fanatec controls running Oculus.

Jean - My sincere apologies for taking you out in Turn 5. I completely spaced and didn't brake early enough. It won't happen again.

Incident at turn 5:

My apologies for my part in the incident at Turn 5 on lap 1. I was 2 wide and on the inside approaching the turn and was caught out by earlier braking, which caused me to slide up the inside of (I believe) Moisés Lobato. Moisés had no where to go as he was going two wide into the apex and I ended up hitting his drivers side rear causing the spin and subsequent pile up. I was not attempting to make a pass.

Rhoad I wont lie trying to "look professional".... I was really REALLY pissed off, so much that I tried to keep running but I couldnt forget it and eventualy I lost all my concentration.

... but ****** happens... all the time.

... and I really appreciate your apologies,

I just ask to EVERYBODY:

please please please PLEASE remember it is the FIRST LAP, give space before braking. just that.

See you on track Rhoad.

Man did i choke last night! When I started practicing for this race Sunday afternoon i was running 2:07’s. Last night 30min before qualifying I ran a 2:02.4, i was satisfied enough and felt good about it. Qualifying started and it was like i never drove the car before? Then race started and while reaching for my keyboard on front straight lap 4 i got on breaks late and she spun. Having to sit there and allow everyone through killed it for me, i was done and shook rest of the race. I haven’t raced competitively in 4-5 months and it showed, i was a mess! Glad to be back after it, and hopefully doing better next week with my head out of my ??? Lol

Big thanks to Kenny for helping me get my teamspeak hooked up, and the guy even created a livery for me on race day so i looked the part, much appreciated!

Straight roads are for fast cars, turns are for fast drivers...

Absolutely! I would have been pissed too. I was equally as pissed with myself for not preventing it.
The next time you are behind me, I'll wave you by.
Thanks for understanding.

Hi,

As you can see, no one listen to my instructions.. :D :D :D :D :D :D

For my race, I was able to avoid the mayhem of the 1st lap to get to 7th position.  Had Matthew behind me for a while but was able to get away from him.  Then, my teammate Guillaume, was catching me until he spun in 1.  Later it was James that caught me, passed me and spun.  So you know that is you stand around me, my Karma will spun you...

BTW, I was the only one with 0x.....whoooooo
