Has there been an email sent out about this new championship? I would probably be interested, but only if there's enough people.

I may be interested but I need to see when the next season for iRacing Tuesday league starts. I had planned on buying PC2 when it dropped in price but I can be motivated to pay full price if I can manage both leagues.

As my luck would have it, PC2 was on sale in Steam for $29.99. I am interested in running however, The Tuesday iRacing will take up a majority of my practice time. I don't want to take a slot away from anyone who can commit to this fully. If slots are available after the bulk of registration is done I will be more than happy to fill a grid slot.

Just in case this league doesn't get enough members signed up, I want to remind everyone that there is also an AC league still looking for drivers. We currently have 7 signed up and are looking for more. The race times are on Sunday at 3 PM EST. The first pre-season race will be this Sunday.

p.s.: Not trying to "steal" any drivers. Just letting you know in case not enough people sign up.

Yes. I have signed up for the Assetto Corsa League. Not the Project Cars League. I was just making sure everyone also knew about the Assetto Corsa league, so if this league doesn't get enough people, they can join the AC league if they'd like. We have 8 people signed up in the AC league currently, but could always use more.

I'm so confused - there are only 2 people signed up for GT3 and 8 for Touring Cars?! To add insult to injury, I'm seeing leagues where the only car used in Touring is the BMW whereas at least in GT3, especially now post patch, there really are multiple competitive cars.

Oh well, maybe I'll be signing up for the Touring Cars league if this doesn't pan out  :(

The touring cars series is for Europe. You would have to provide a speed test to their servers probably. Racing is more popular in Europe, which is why they got more drivers to sign up. If this series doesn't work out, you could join the Assetto Corsa League. There are currently 8 people signed up in that as well.

Oh wow, I totally missed that....ah possibly. I dunno, I started playing PC2 because it was easy to hop into servers and just race, and using VR with the menus was so much easier than AC. I know for a league, that isn't all that important, but it tickles me the wrong way....on the other hand, you can sign up for the PC2 league :)

I've heard the VR in Assetto Corsa is really good. I thought about joining the PC league, but there wasn't enough people signed up, I don't own PC2, and I feel that AC is a better overall sim from what I've heard and seen. I'm jelly of you having that VR tho. I really want one! If you change your mind, I'd love to race you in AC.

btw, did you see the new AC game that was announced today. It looks really good! They are using the Unreal Engine 4, so the graphics look amazing.

Yeah, it definitely is. When is this league starting? I will consider it. AC isn't my favorite game because, as menial as it might seem, the menus are difficult to work through, especially in VR, and hopping in servers to play a fun, fair, rather competitive, but casual race for practice isn't as easy as say PC2. I need to experiment more though, I'll admit, and with Competzisoneofineslnfale coming out, it encourages me a bit to give AC another go...especially if finding a PC2 league for NA proves impossible.

Oh, hmm, I must have read something somewhere wrong, looked at the calendar wrong, read a practice/social race....oh whatever. So signups are still live and the first real race won't start till this Sunday, correct?
