Pre-Race Interview
1. I Didnt, but I was following it closely!, I hope to be there next year,

2. I joined in race 5, so, this 2 races have been amazing to me, I guess we only need the sponsor to get live race coverage! that will be great!

3. Of course: SdS Racing looks very nice hahahaha

I want to say thanks to the organization and drivers for such a very exiting races, and Dany Duchesne for the race resume,

For Sebring I dont think I can even finish the race in one piece (damn last turn!!!).... but I'll try to do my best.

1. Did you run in the 24 hours of Daytona? If so, how did it go?
I did not run it. Not enough time to put together a solid effort and coordinate all the teammates.
2. Now that we are half-way through the season, have you reach your expectations so far? What would you like to improve?
I have not met my expectations but hope for a bit of a turn around for the second half.
3. Which team/driver has the best paint scheme this year?
I like ours but the Bushfink cars are sharp. The Fury cars look good as well.

I ran the 24 in the AMG . We made a special livery and named the team Farewell Scott Pruett.
We ran as high as 17th overall. Ended up 20th / 3rd in class.

I'm not happy with my results so far. Daytona was better. I'm so used to driving GT3 cars that I'm struggling to push the car as fast as it should be.

Have not had Trading Paints running until last nights session, so I can't say.

1. Did you run in the 24 hours of Daytona? If so, how did it go?
Team Buschfink entered 4 teams for this race. My team ended up with a disconnect at the start of the race so we started in P10 and about 4 laps down. Took us a long 20 hours but we made up enough time to get back into P2, few more hours and we probably would have been able to catch up to the leader, but good result regardless.

2. Now that we are half-way through the season, have you reach your expectations so far? What would you like to improve?
There's always room to improve.

3. Which team/driver has the best paint scheme this year?
Of course, Team Buschfink baby! Nah but really, I'm not sure what the team is called (I'm sorry) but I know that Charles Huffstetler is on it, their paint looks nice.

Side Note: Sorry in advance to the race organizers, my team mate, Alex, will probably not be able to attend most if not all of the races the rest of the season. Had I known that I wouldn't have had him register.

Good race today. Congrats Benjamin (again).
I made a very low start. I speed-up in green light but I was ahead of Benjamin so I have to slow down (not sure if a get a black flag if I'm ahead of leader on Start line and I don't want to take the risk) Someone can confirm this?

The rest of the race was very fun trying to catch Francisco, Nick and Matthew. Unfortunately Francisco was disconnected at the end of the race....we lost important points for the Team championship.

see you in Suzuka

Not to unhappy with this one. I little oddity at the start that Cristian eluded to in his post had a little impact on my start. Lost a couple positions but got them back through a pass and Dany's unfortunate early spin. Tried to hang with Cristian after his error in the hair pin but he just has me covered for pace. Good racing with Matt for position which was shaping up to be fun until it got tight and net code bumped me enough to spin me. Their is still clearly a foot of room between the cars in the replay. Sorry Matt in the heat of battle I opened the mic and shouldn't have.

Another minor spin put me behind Igor pre pit stop and that lead to some good nose to tail that continued post pit stop. This time net code left us alone even though there was some minor paint swapping in the back section.

Overall a good race. My teammate once again managed to beat me despite my best efforts. Good job Matt. Everyone found a little speed this week so we will head on to Suzuka and try to do it better.

We saw Francisco fall in the standings but didn't know why. Not finishing well because of a disconnect always sucks.

Drama seems to follow me! Steering wheel this week again Friday night team practice lead to utter frustration. I quit! Kenny comes over to look at the wheel (Fanatec Clubsport V1)problem as he knows I can drive better than the times I am posting. He fires up the wheel and says it is dead dude one of the motors is weak or not working. Hey, I have had some miles on this one I was on the first orders when they came out. Clicked the buy it now button on new Fanatec v2.5 base! So I have a heavy modded g25 with buttons and sli-pro on it. What the hell lets try it. He helps get it all set up and says let's just get a baseline going and start over. I host a late session and start just driving nobody could join so I had the track to myself. Setups were tried and thrown out. The smaller wheel rim was a challenge to get used to and the FFB was more than enough to wear me out. Kenny hosted up a team practice and we get all our guys running and I still am missing the mojo by 2 seconds. Prl practice Monday night same deal just cannot seem to figure it out at that point I was just going to say screw it. In sheer desperation, I dumped in a setup found off the web that said minute 55 lap with just a few minutes left I rolled out with Kenny and said it is now or never. CLICK moment started to get green sectors again finished with best times yet for me. Kenny hosted more time after the PRL session and we ground it out and at the end, he had me by just .060
The wheel shows up Tuesday...what to do stick with the G25 or plug it in and run the new base? Racer in me says new and shiny got to be better! 7:25 turn the first laps and knew I made an error something wrong bad. Kenny is a great guy he remotes in my rig and gets me straight. I load up the new drivers and back to the session. Powered up the wheel and holy cow batman I can barely turn it on entry so Kenny says just turn a few laps so it can auto sense the in-game ffb keep it off the curbs he says :) It sets it to 12.5 no clipping but I am not used to the force and say it needs to be dialed back or my arms are going to fall off:)  Get some laps together and it is close to Q time and the feedback is incredible over the old Fanatec base. Q pace in the top 10 feeling good for a change.
Race time: Got mugged on the start for some reason thought it was hold your position until after the start line not sure where that was said but Kenny also thought that anyhow head down and team member was with me and we were moving up good together  I was getting a good pace going I made a inside move and the other driver made it an 8 wheel car and it stayed 8 wheels way too long for several turns and it ended with a spin that broke the 8 wheels and me having heavy damage I knew it was too early to pit for fuel mileage to work out so I struggled on till it would work out and had a few off track moments. Hopeful it would cycle out, in the end, I just raced hard the rest of the time. Got lapped but held my own with them as long as I could without impeding them too much. There is hope that this car and I will have a better showing.
Racing is a fun sport and we have rules in place to keep it fun this is the 3rd race in a row I was on the end of bumper cars that led me to a poor finish.
